An Uncomplicated version in time.

We experience time as being linear. The past is left behind, the present is currently running and the future is yet to come. But Science and Vedanta say that time is relative, making the distinction between past, present and future an illusion. All three past, present and future co-exist. Our consciousness can grasp only one at any given time. But what if there was someone like me who could move freely in the zone where time was not divided into past, present and future, and could witness the complete wheel of time.

The following post could be a work of fiction and is dedicated to those five type1 diabetics who came in contact with a time traveller and how he changed their future, without their knowledge.

I loved to travel in time. It allowed my consciousness to grasp any life form including people, in totality without the distinction of past, present and future. (It is like watching a movie from start to finish in one frame) This entitled me to view deep back into the past and far ahead in the future. The joy of transcending the captivity of time, and perceiving  a life without any break, made me realise that connections are what sustains a life. The links, connections or bonds, whatever you may call them are what, give flavour to a life. (this flavour can be good or bad, happy or sorrowful, healthy or sickly). To a time traveller, all these links suddenly become very transparent. Since these links are responsible for making our life path, we should be very careful with whom we associate.

Interdependence is the word physicists use to describe the bond every life shares with everything else. These bonds are what give life meaning.

One day I decided to find out what happens if just one of the link  is replaced. Shouldn't the whole lifetime undergo change?. This was the theory.

The purpose was to remove that link which was responsible for making the movie of life  (made of past, present and future) gloomy and difficult.

I was blessed to be in a place (undivided time) where the weak link, whether it was in the past, deep past in another life, or in the present, or likely to come up in the future was easily recognisable and obvious.

The only  worry was  if there would be any repercussions, since every manipulation results in a cost and if the cost was high then the manipulation was not worth it.

But then I thought what exactly is a repercussion? It's the effect of a cause. This means that the effect is later in time and the cause is earlier. It was my actions now that  bring the consequence afterwards. This happened in time. But if I am making the future strong ,why would I would allow or make place for repercussions? There is no price, it's free. No repercussion, hence no cost.

As I said, finding the weakest link (and it surprised me when I did this manipulation for four more type1 diabetic girls, that it was very easy to find the weakening link, even when there were more than one link responsible for making the movie of life miserable ) was easy for me at least.
What was difficult was replacing the weak link with a stronger one.  Nature does not allow breaking of any bonds, any connections, any links unless they are substituted with a replacement.

The links are a creation of our choice. A wrong choice installs a weak link, a right choice installs a strong  link.

Undoing a choice from the past is not easy. Since the past is inaccessible to an ordinary person. But being a time traveller, I had access to  a zone where the dividing lines between the past, present and future were not demarcated. This place gave me the leverage to access any link, even if it was in the past, since past had no separate existence. Everything was now. The past along with the present and the future was in NOW.

I successfully managed to remove the link in my life, and substitute the vacant slot with a choice, that transforms later, and becomes a strong link.

Now it was time to try this exercise on others too. I found five girls who had a form of diabetes, that could lead to worry and sorrow. These five had a strong bond with me (a strong bond allows the person to become transparent allowing the connections to be crystal clear)  which made, removing their weak link easy, and also to convince them of making a choice that would substitute the disconnected weak link with a stronger link. (Of course they are aware of this part, where I put my arguments convincing them to make a certain choice). Unknowingly just by picking an alternative choice, they had rearranged their whole life ahead. (just as by rearranging the molecules, we change the form of a substance, similarly rearranging our choices, we change life)

As soon as the replacement was done, the undivided life (the past, and future in one frame) became very clear of these four diabetic girls and I was satisfied with myself, for relocating them away from a future which could have caused complication.

I tried to do the same exercise with others suffering from the same type of disease, but it did not work, because even though I was able to remove the corrupted link, I had no way of replacing them with a better choice.

Unfortunately, I couldn't change the link responsible for diabetes, as that was the anchor link, made of astral matter, and directly connected to the spiritual body which was responsible for giving life force.  responsible for life.
I was also worried if  the new link, will  corrode and degenerate again.?  With these two apprehensions, I realised, that there are some answers that only  time can answer.

PS. Many wonder at my memory, but travelling in time, has some benefits. Past is easily accessible.

Dear loved ones

Dear loved one.

Many of you are aware, that we are fellow travellers on this pre-determined road of diabetes. We have been travelling on this road for the past thirty years and more, out of which the last five years have been specially educative for us. We wish to share our learnings with you all, in the hope that it may benefit some of you.

We  started by trying to get answers for two questions.

1. There was no convincing reason or a obvious cause for fluctuating blood sugar levels many a times. This unexpected fall or rise generated some worry, fear and even guilt. So was perfect balance a myth?

2. Related to the first question was our second query, if the blood sugars do not remain in the narrow range, would it lead to diabetic complications?. If so why does the complication strike some and why did it not affect everyone? Were  there any similarities in the diabetics that were afflicted by complications?

Mind does influence matter.

We knew from the start that we were searching for an hidden, almost mysterious cause that “We were convinced” was exerting a greater influence than food and insulin. We deliberately wanted to leave food and insulin and their measurements carb counting and dosage calibration out of the equation. Not because, they are not important but the purpose was to go beyond and find what was exerting pressure on food and insulin to become unstable. We were sure the answer lies in our mind.

The hypothesis that we started out with was, “ though we had the same type of diabetes, and again we are one at the spiritual level, was the difference at the mental level,(and it was our thinking, mind set, attitude and behaviour or in one word our nature)  be responsible for making some of us more prone to developing complications”.  Mind could dictate matter.

What makes us

It was found out, that three basic instincts  Worry, Guilt and Fear (WGF from now onwards )  were somehow moulding our mental structure, making us physically and mentally weak. The process was mentioned in some old metaphysical texts that Gautam came across.( Those who are interested in reading more should read Lectures on Raja Yoga by Swami Vivekananda). Patanjalis Yogasutras explain the connections that run between our body and mind and how their communication affects our insula due to which we may be requiring insulin. (the insula, a brain region that detects cues from the body and processes emotions and empathy. The insula helps to integrate one's feelings, actions and several other brain functions.)

WGF, generated stress which changed our thoughts, thoughts were responsible for manifesting a variety of  emotions and feelings, that make up our nature. Some thoughts were adulterating and making  our nature impure. And with many of us, the mix of our weakening thoughts and nature are so perfect  that, there is no indication of the corruption and we found it was in those people that the effect was lethal. These were the same people who believed everything is wrong ONLY at the physical level. And could not remove WGF.

This adulterated nature, was corrupting our health, and was lowering our strength to fight attacks on our physical body, making us fertile to attract supplementary diseases and disorders along with diabetes.

Reading about the effect of stress on nerves, observing the effects of a weakened system in recurrent infections, wide fluctuations of blood sugar levels, frequent bouts of frustration, flared tempers, and  habitually feeling hurt by the behaviour of others, in other words getting affected by everything and swaying like a pendulum from extreme ecstasy to maximum misery, gave the confirmation that WGF was lowering our immunity.

I got support of my hypothesis from literature as old as 1679, where an English physician had linked the onset of diabetes to prolonged sorrow, to 1995 where Thernlund GM, published the relation of psychological stress to onset of IDDM in children, and upto to the recent  December 2016 issue of Diabetes Care, where ADA has published guidelines on how important it is to understand the role of psychosocial behaviour of diabetics, since it has been found to play a bigger role in diabetes than earlier believed.

Problem identified, solution in sight.

To rid our nature from the impurities of WGF, should then be our primary pursuit.

To find a solution, we need to first find the source of the problem. The answer to our primary question had raised another question in the answer.
So what caused Worry, Guilt and Fear ?

I could not find any convincing answers but when we connect the theory to the observable facts, we find that the starting point of WGF in diabetics (especially) is the non-acceptance of the fact that diabetes is a part of us and here to stay with us for long time.

Non-acceptance is the source of fear and worry in a diabetic and the refusal to go beyond the physical manifestation to understand diabetes as having its roots deeper than the physical, creates ignorance. And where there is ignorance, the  misconceptions are many and the intensity of fear is enhanced. Here it may be necessary to append that the Katha Upanishad has a beautiful allegory on how the intellect, or the power of discrimination, called buddhi, is useful in controlling our lower impulses of worry, fear and guilt along with many other feelings.

If you tell the diabetic that acceptance of diabetes is not total, the child will immediately negate it, may be even laugh about it.
This is because with most of us, acceptance is superficial and though everything appears fine on the surface, deep down the diabetic child are running rot, apprehensions, anger, doubts and a host of normal failures that the child considers are due to diabetes.

True that, everyone starts with disbelief and rejection of diabetes, but we end up, hiding the non-acceptance deep within and keep feeding it daily with our WGF.

I fully agree that diabetes destroys our initial identity. Suddenly from being normal and ordinary we are transformed into unsound and infected.

But remembering that we are not ordinary is important.

We are different, and we are special. Raising our consciousness from the physical beyond towards the intellectual dimension will give us the opportunity to realise that our physical illness is not a disability but an opportunity to know ourselves and become wiser and fearless. (To know more about the the five dimensional reality of us, how we are affected in each dimension, and how the higher dimension of intellect can correct, manipulate and modify the lower dimensions of mental, energetic and physical wait for  my next post)

Remembering that diabetes in no way makes us less human or is a retardation of any kind is the first step to accepting what we are.
This will give us the confidence to realise that we need not fight to fit in a mould set by others for others.

Not being able to conform to friends demands or feeling let down by the societies understanding of a diabetic gives strong sentiments  of helplessness and defeatism to the child. From getting accepted by ones own parents to getting accepted by a spouse, a diabetic tries very hard to fit in to the mould that society has preset for everyone.

Meditation is the way.

Dhyana or meditation is the second last step of Ashthanga Yoga and needs to be attained after going the earlier six steps of  Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana. After which comes  Dhyana or Meditation and finally Samadhi.

Learning the earlier six steps for meditation is very important, since the preparation makes it easy to meditate. Otherwise meditation becomes an exercise, which it is not. But the meditation that we should follow is mindfulness or dhyana or paying attention. This is not very different from the meditation propagated by Patanjali in yoga sutras which is mostly taught in all yoga schools, but easier to inculcate in our daily life.
Mindfulness is witnessing everything and accepting everything  and observing oneself.

The technique not only helps in connecting our fragmented life into a complete whole, but it gives many indications and pointers to what we may not be doing right. This can be done by removing judgement from what we see outside and using our energies to go within us and understand and investigate our responses and reactions to people, situations and events outside us.
And once you watch the thief it, gives up its plan of stealing. Just by paying attention, we are able to change our behaviour. (Of course, particle physics insists that the act of observation changes the result. Could be Hawthorne effect, or the Observor effect of Physics) The moment we start to change attention from others to within us, the changes in our physical body are very obvious.

1. Improved concentration.
2. Less irritability and impatience
3. Regular and harmonious breathing
4. Peaceful sleep
5. Reduced variation in blood sugars.

To sum up.
1. Worry, Guilt, Fear could be damaging our physical and mental health, sending us towards trauma, misery or sorrow.
2. Learning to accept everything from diabetes to blood sugar readings will help us to take appropriate steps to control any side effects of diabetes.
3. Learning ways and methods to keep our mind in harmony with our body by using pranayama, mindfulness, or yoga will help along with maintaining a hobby and an exhaustive diary that keeps track of our daily routine. This will also give us a view how intimately our thoughts and emotions are connected to our diabetes.
4. Diabetes is an opportunity to know more about ourselves, and should be used to make our living meaningful by giving it a higher purpose.
5. Last but not the least, move away from people and places that do not help you in your journey to overcome your fears and other weaknesses. Keep in touch with like-minded people who understand you (like your dynamic and diabetic family at JDF) and guide you to give you a stronger will.

With lots and lots of love from.                  Varsha and Gautam Narang.

What is Dowsing ?

Dowsing is a process of energy reading. Science believes that objects and non objects are energy signatures of an underlying interacting processes . Simply put, everything visible or invisible around us is energy and this energy represents a continuous transformation that, the entity is undergoing. Everything in the universe is a reflection of the ceaseless flow of primal energy, creating subtle patterns that flow and interconnect with others forming a web we call creation.

Vedantic philosophy also gives a similar explanation, giving a dynamic property and an inherent quality of change and influence to even stationary objects.

I use a pendulum to detect the energy behind an event, a person or an object. The reading gives an indication of the energy influence, that person, object or event has and the likely interconnections it would form.

How does this reading help?

My earlier post “Esoteric Guides” has been well received with 400+ views. The post tried to convey the idea that all forms of external help fall short in solving our problems. People resort to Astrology, Vastu, Feng Shui, Crystal therapy etc. to find a way that brings to them towards success, wealth, health and other forms of happiness. Swami Vivekananda says that “ I am sure if you look back upon your lives you will find that you were always vainly trying to get help from others which never came. All the help that has come was from within yourselves. You only had the fruits of what you yourselves worked for, and yet you were strangely hoping all the time for help.”

Dowsing helps in connecting us to our environment harmoniously which is composed of other people or objects by giving us a electromagnetic reading of our self. Since everything is energy and energy flows ( just like water) from a higher consciousness , the readings in dowsing (only if the questions are carefully solicited) tell us three things about the energy in play at that time , the point of origin ,the direction in which the flow is and its area of influence. This information interprets the lessons our experience conveys and allows us to go ahead by bringing a closure.

I shall explain through an example. A few years back, a young girl came to me, as she wanted a solution to her father’s physical and monetary health, both of which had suffered a drastic and sudden downfall. Her father had a paralytic stroke and the factory that he had started was inactive since the past 18 months. Since a dowser is a vastu, fengshui and geomancy expert, she thought that either the house or the factory had some defects. A lot of women staffers were detected with breast cancer in the ABC newsroom in Brisbane in December 2006 , when they were forced to relocate their premises. Here is the link to that story.

http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2007/s1977342.htm and

http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/world/archives/2006/12/22 /2003341466

A dowser judges if there are any energy lines crossing under the building that could bring obnoxious energies in to the house or factory. In Germany these lines are thought to be cancer producing and they are called “ Read more about it herehttp://www.dowsing4geopathicstress.co.uk/index.php/geopathic -stress/geopathic-stress-and-cancer

Coming back to the story, I dowsed on her fathers photograph, her factory and house photographs which gave a reading, “all clear” with respect to energy lines. Then proceeding further on her fathers photograph I made a dowsing chart which could indicate the origin of the energy, the flow and the area of influence. Since I knew the area of influence, it was the health and business, finding the other two variables was easy. To cut a long story short, the point of origin was in the “dues” which the father had managed not to pay. As a dowser, I keep insisting that people should pay extra attention towards “debt “and “dues”. Most of my posts revolve around these two neglected duties of man. In fact one of the reasons of our birth is due to the debt from past lives and the unpaid dues that we carry forward in this life. I asked her if there were any unpaid dues? The girl was now teary eyed and said that banks were ready to reposes the house and some debt was taken to meet the medical bills and household expenses through the difficult times. I explained her that the dues were prior to the fall of fortune and she should look back and find out if some due was unpaid, since the consequence her family was going through was a result of a deliberate choice made in this lifetime. , I did have fair intuition “what that debt was”, but I refused to trouble her more and without taking any charges gave her a small booklet of Swami Vivekanandas “ His call to the Nation”. At the door I casually remarked that these “debt” energies gain momentum over time and inflict greater pain even to the extent of taking all comforts away.

This story only shows how a dowser works which is not by suggesting remedies externally like space clearing, gems and stones but by going directly to the point of origin or the cause. This story does not end here since that girl came back to me after 3 years with a box of chocolates. Her face told me that she had come to give good news. She informed me that her father had died after 7 months of her visit to meet me, her house at tardeo was disposed by the bank last year and she and her mother were now staying at Kandivali a far flung suburb from tardeo which was up market . Her only solace was the discussion she had with her father about what I had told her that day. I waited patiently to know the reason why her face radiated peace, since up to know whatever she had said was not very pleasant.

She said her father had confessed that the dues I was talking about were the “taxes “he had saved on importing the machinery by under declaring the value. The amount He had managed to save was 11 odd lacs. She said that her father told her that had he realised this money would make him and his family suffer he would have gladly paid since at the time of importing the machines he had a huge cash surplus. Nature never forgets and always comes back with a vengeance to balance things, I told her. She did not believe that it was her father’s unpaid dues that had borne this harsh consequence but it was pre-ordained, since many of her father’s friends were still enjoying wealth and had resorted to such similar dubious activities some, even on a much higher scale.

I told her that her father cleared his account in this life; many of us like to carry them forward in our next life and make it difficult for the dowser to know the cause of the consequence. Every choice that we make carries within it the seed of the consequence. It is our duty to choose wisely.

Dowsing is also useful in making a choice based on the energy of the options.

Another way of making a wise choice is to choose the option, which is the most unselfish.

The miseries of the world cannot be cured by physical help only. Until man's nature changes, these physical needs will always arise, and miseries will always be felt, and no amount of physical help will cure them completely. The only solution of this problem is to make mankind pure. Ignorance is the mother of all the evil and all the misery we see. Let men have light, let them be pure and spiritually strong and educated, then alone will misery cease in the world, not before. We may convert every house in the country into a charity asylum, we may fill the land with hospitals, but the misery of man will still continue to exist until man's character changes...

Body as Vehicle

Since the past 19 months I have been sending messages in the morning to my friends. This post combines 3 message posts sent last week. After reading my article " A Dowsers Tale " a girl sent me some questions. This post is an answer to those questions. Since it follows " A Dowsers Tale" immidiately on speaking tree , it may answer many unasked questions too.

Intuition is a guidiance tool just like reasoning. We rely too much on logic leaving the part of intuition unused. Both logic and intuition can be understood as two wheels of a motorbike. You can drive on one wheel but not for long and you are likely to encounter situations where riding on one wheel does not work. Both senses are to be used at the same time. Hence intuition that defies logic is only instinct which is in abundance in animals who use this faculty to hunt and feed and eat. Intuition may be considered as one of the wheels of a two wheeler or a wheel of the four wheeler where besides logic and intuition character and knowledge are the other two wheels. This vehicle is our ride out of misery and sorrow. People who find themselves stuck on the road with no "way" ahead have one of the 4 missing wheels. Tommorow I shall write why character and knowledge play an equally important part in our progress.

Your body is precious. It is our vehicle for awakening. Treat it with care.Gautama Buddha

In continuation of my yesterdays post we shall explore the meaning of knowledge which is the third wheel after logic and intuition. Suppose there are a thousand products all made up of clay is it nessecary to see and understand them individually ? No say the sages since if you know about Clay you know about all the 1000 products since their properties will be same. In the Mundaka Upanishads (1.1) Saunaka asked Angira: What is it, knowing which everything is known?

The art of knowing one chief constituent from where everything else emanates or springs out from is knowledge. Everything in the universe from the mighty planets to the lowly stones on the road including God ,human beings ,birds ,animals oceans, microscopic organisms, mountains non things like dreams, feelings like joy sorrow are composed of " atman". or simply said "spirit". Everything has a spirit behind the visible. Just like we need a lab and reagents to learn about a chemical we have been given a life and people and objects to learn about this spirit. By accepting this " Subtle Sense "( also the name of my facebook page ) and accepting this fact we all become " Atmajnani". When we realise its implication we are " Vijnani " or realised individuals. All religious books in all cultures running into crores of pages have been condensed into the above paragraph. Today you have all become Jnanis since this is the only knowledge in the whole world worth knowing . There is a spirit behind everything we see we touch we feel or what we hear. This knowledge that you have recieved today comes to people after many sorrowful births.

The last wheel of the vehicle which is our body is the character. Misunderstood as exemplary social behaviour that adheres to all social norms only a few roadside vagrants have got it correct when the use a term " Character deela hai ". A strong character can be defined as a perfect unity between the Thoughts and the words to the action. Lets see an example many boys on seeing a girl use the word " item " or " maal" with thoughts that edge on the derogatory. These same boys use words that are pleasing to their girlfriend sister mother and aunt. When they act their behaviour shows that they are chivalorous and courteous. The fear that their thoughts are unacceptable to society pulls their 3 idealogies viz. Actions Words and Thoughts in 3 different directions making the joints between them loose or deela. Many boys and girls secretly entertain thoughts which are socially unacceptable. So the transformation is in the thoughts not in our words and actions. A person smoking drinking eating non vegeterian food and visiting brothels if truly shows to everyone his actions and doesnt hide them has more character than a lady or a man getting up early in the morning and going to the temple harboring thoughts about a neighbour or thinking about how to hide his true intentions by showing a good cause. We are a spirit ( remember last post about knowlwdge) which is the closest to our thoughts and is influenced by our thinking. Thoughts are subtle and subtle sense is my facebook page. A strong character which is the result of the integration of our thoughts actions and words sends very subtle messages to our spirit which is present in everything ( see last post). Such messages from character can change the course of destiny. A dowser goes beyond the obvious actions and words in to the realm of thought ascertaining real character and changing the process of thoughts.

Ghanchakkar.... Not the Movie

Means crazy , insane or a lunatic in hindi slang.

The whole of this universe is mad -- some for wealth, some for pleasure, some for fame, some for a hundred other things. They are mad for gold, or husbands, or wives, for little trifles, mad to tyrannise over somebody, mad to become rich, mad for every foolish thing except God. And they can understand only their own madness. When another man is mad after gold, they have fellow - feeling and sympathy for him, and they say he is the right man, as lunatics think that lunatics alone are sane. Swami Vivekananda in The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda Vol 4. Pages 171-172

They are all mad. Children are [mad] after their games, the young after the young, the old [are] chewing the cud of their past years; some are mad after gold. Why not some after God? Swami Vivekananda in The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda Vol 6. Page 73

In my earlier post titled “ Sickness” dated 1st June, I had written how mental disorders have become very common these days.

Insanity refers to to the defective function of mental processes such as reasoning.

What impairs our function of reasoning ?

In my post on Investing for gains -2, my point no. 3 of being rational I have pointed out that we rely more than necessary on media and others to think for us. This makes us loose our capacity to discriminate and rationalise. The situation is similar to the blind following the blind.

In the quote above, Swami Vivekananda says that “ lunatics think that lunatics alone are sane” , the corollary being that lunatics take the sane to be insane. Insanity, then may be the only sanest thing.

By thinking that we are sane are we not really approving our insanity or may be we are acting maniacally
We have no memory of who we are since we confuse ourselves with the body
We have no clear idea of what we want, only an inkling perhaps
We have unaware of what is really happening around us
We have no clue where to look for our lost divinity, trying hard to find it everywhere but within our hearts.
We behave as deluded people by forgetting our “ real self” and loose the power of discrimination ultimately becoming spiritually “dead”

What Causes this insanity ?

Swami Nikhilananda in his book “ Man in search of Immortality” (page 49) says that the tendency of the mind to dwell on objects other than the self breeds attachment, which stimulates desires to posses “ those objects”. The frustration of desire is follow by anger, which produces delusions.

PS Though the title of the blog says that it is not about the movie, I find a compulsion to mention that after watching the theatrical trailers, I was attracted to its title, and was inspired to come up with a blog. On a related note I must mention here that I do not idolise any film star, but looking aurically ( purely from an energy point of view), Emraan Hashmi is a much better person than the many whom I see on TV. I am not a hindi movie buff and don’t remember the seeing a hindi movie in the last 13 years, but I may make an exception after reading a review.

Monk and Monad - Swami Vivekananda

31st May 1893. Swami Vivekananda leaves the Bombay Harbour to attend the parliament of religions in Chicago.

120 years ago, on this day, Swami Vivekananda did not go alone. He was carrying within Him a culture that had given birth to the mother of all religions. He was also carrying within Him an heart that bled for His countrymen. It was His love for India that made him travel over the Seven Seas, considered to be a sin if undertaken by a monk. But He was no ordinary monk.

He was a Monad. Monad (from Greek μονάς monas, "unit" from μόνος monos, "alone"), according to the Pythagoreans, was a term for Divinity or the first being, or the totality of all beings,Monad being the source or the One meaning without division.

This was the earlier defination of a Monad, Quantum Physics think of Monads The true simple substance is not atoms, but rather monads. Monads are unextended (shapeless and sizeless) force or energy that constitutes everything in nature. It's similar with atom in a number of ways, the difference being, atom is lifeless and material, whereas monads are dynamic and nonmaterial. Whereas the atomis lifeless and static by itself, the monads are capable of action on its own

One is a defination for a divine Human, the other for the particles or the processes that subatomic particles undertake.

Both the meanings are relevant to the towering personality of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda was the collective soul of the people of India. He was not going alone. It was the anguish of the Indians wanting to be heard. On this day Swami Vivekananda was carrying a baggage of millions and millions of souls within Him. He was not alone.

PS. In the 9048 pages of The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda, the word " India" is repeated 2329 times. Those were not just words. May be His heart used to beat 2329 in a minute for His Country, His Countrymen and their pitiable state. If you think it is an exaggeration, please read His life, His Saying, His writings. Your love for your country will expand thousandfold for your country.

“Swami Vivekananda saved Hinduism and saved India. But for him, we would have lost our religion and would not have gained our freedom. We therefore owe everything to Swami Vivekananda.”
- Sri Chakravarthi Rajagopalachari (Dec 10, 1878 - Dec 25, 1972). He was popularly known as Rajaji or C.R. He was the first governor general of Independent India and was an Indian lawyer, writer, statesman and a devout Hindu.

Gandhi once said, “My love for India has become a thousandfold after thorough reading of Swami Vivekananda.”

Swami Vivekananda will not stop inspiring , because His heart still beats in the billions of Indians today whether they know about Him or not.

Choices

If Life is a journey then the road beneath us is the result of our choices. We have in the past used this route but we dont remember them. ( See the Bhagavad Gita , Chapter 4 verse 5 ). There is however a GPS  a simple navigation system which sends out an alarm everytime we encounter a choice. The navigator always chooses that path which is the least selfish. But then again , since we like to execise our rights ,the choice is always ours. The device we use to travel is also uniquely personal to us, and so is the path. Hence the choices encountered will never be the same for different individuals. Though they may look similar, everyone of us will get choices whose significance and implication will be originally exclusive.

Whatever we choose , we can be certain that the selection will bring us some wisdom.Choosing an option is an intutive art.

If you were given only one choice: To choose or not to choose, which would you choose?”

After-Life is the sumtotal of all the choices we made in life.

Vibrational Energy

At the confluence of our Internal Nature ( Mind + Body ), and the External Nature ( everything else ) is a system that connects the two Natures. This invisible system allows the bi-directional flow of vibrancy , or energy which is exchanged to benefit each other. ( When we are alive we are benefitted more, when we die , external nature benefits by decomposition of the elements ). This  intermediate system is called a Vibrational System and  is composed of forces that shape our living by providing the impetus to feel, think and act.

This system has forces which vibrate at dynamic frequencies and provide balance to the neuro-endocrine system ( Sukshma-Sharira or the subtle body ) which is responsible for our overall well being.

When this channels frequency falls below a certain range troubles start. Since our body is not in a single dimension but according to vedic cosmogony we are multi dimensional the agitation is on many levels from the highest spiritual to the lowest sensual. The lowest level of 62 MHz ( our bodies generate electromagnetic fields that is how we check the EKG and all electromagnetic fields are measured in MHz) is the limit below which we loose the state of balance ( homeostasis) .

What are the elements that bring our vibrational frequency below the healthy level ? How can the level be regained or increased to get the maximum benefit of a blooming vibration ?
E=MC2where E is the Vibrational Energy or Bio-Energy or the Spiritual Energy, M is the state of the mind and C is a constant for Consciousness which every living being is endowed with. Our vibrational Energy depends on the state of our mind. Our thoughts , our emotions constitute the major faculties of the mind. In fact everything we perceive is through our mind only. Since we are all endowed with an individual mind the frequencies that vibrate around us are never alike for two individuals. We all have a unique frequency and hence vibrational therapy cannot be the same for two individuals.

By changing the state of the mind we can increase our vibrational energy. For this much support is provided by those instruments which can change the state of the mind and hence boost the frequency. These instruments are called yantras, meaning machines or " any instrument for holding , restraining or fastening" derieved from the root sanskrit word " Yam " meaning to Control or Subdue or Restrain or Curb or Check.

From numbers to crystals to essential oils and symbols man has used  a large variety of yantras to bring the mind to a state where the frequency of the vibrational field around is favourable for spiritual and sensual aims.

The Aim of Subtle Healing

What is subtle healing ?

It is believed that our Soul is the doer. According to the Sankhya Philosophy , all our external faculties depend on the mind for sensation. Only after the mind gets attached to the vision can the eyes see, otherwise the eyes shall not be able to see. From here the sensation is carried to the determinative and reactive state of the mind, the buddhi or intellect which then flashes the external world and egoism. This is the start of pleasure and pain, Behind all these is the Soul which controls and conducts the proceedings. This Soul has the cause for all actions , hence responsible for all happenings in the world. Since there is a single universal soul called as Prakriti ( nature ) or Brahman ( Absolute ) everything is inter connected with everything else.

Subtle healing unlike healing the physical points of sensation or healing only the surface, travels the length and breadth of this whole structural flow.

Meditation

Some time back , in of the forums on facebook the issue of stress came up. Since the forum was for Juvenile Diabetics , the topic was much appreciated as stress influences in experiencing higher blood sugar and blood pressure levels.
Meditation is being recommended to diabetics to lower the risk of complications due to prolonged diabetes. See the link http://diabetes.webmd.com/diabetes-complications-10/slideshow-avoid-damage?ecd=wnl_dia_050112.

But in these times Meditation is rewarding and beneficial to everyone. We all feel the need to get in touch with the source of energy as we are prone to deficiency while fighting our daily battles. Since the attack is on our physical mental emotional and social health a lot of energy gets consummed in retaining optimum levels which can generate an advantageous position for us.

A lot of us find it difficult to meditate since we are not used to sitting alone with our self and find difficulty in repose and inactivity. We continuosly need something that stimulates us and keeps us in an excited state. It could also be the fear of loosing time and touch with active bustle.

But there is an easy way out. I will only be happy to share a simple path to meditation which can be  practised even while engrossed in activity.

I am happy to recieve an extraordinary response for my last post. A Girl has given a beautiful feedback on explaining that meditation can be succesfully accomplished by ordinary activity that we carry out everyday. Sister Nivedita described it precisely as " “If the many and the One be indeed the same Reality, then it is not all modes of worship alone, but equally all modes of work, all modes of struggle, all modes of creation, which are paths of realization. No distinction, henceforth, between sacred and secular. To labour is to pray. To conquer is to renounce. Life is itself religion. To have and to hold is as stern a trust as to quit and to avoid.”  This is based on the vedantic concept that whatever is visible as many is actually coming from one source.

I wish to offer a simpler way to meditate or connect to the source from where we derive a limitless supply of energy.
Why do we need this energy ? According to Swami Vivekanda weakness or the lack of strength or the lack of energy is the single cause of misery be it physical misery or mental misery. When the mind becomes weak millions of microbes of misery floating around us get the power to hold us to ransom just like all diseases strike when the power of immunity deteriorate.

There are many things that make us weak and similarly many of them which give us strength. By rejecting all those that make us weak and retaining all that give us strength we can plug  a major cavity through which our energies escape. There ia list of such things available and I plan to upload them soon. But lets get back to a major factor and cause for energy depletion. It is the  power of our thoughts. This whole universe is the manifestation of power in the form of energy and matter. The energy form of power is called a thought and the matter form of power is called the physical world. Behind the manifestationof the physical  is the power of thoughts. These thoughts flow through channel called our mind.

Only one small excercise can not only bring the mind under control , create love in our hearts for everyone and bring us to the same state as meditation. A small change is required in our order.

Us.............God as a means to fulfill wants,  desires, enjoyment is what we actually follow instead
Us.............Thank for everyday gifts including obstacles as a Way to show our love to God who now becomes our goal

The second method is not only ideal but has a shorter que.

Donot worry if you are an athiest who does not believe in God. Just thank your own self for everything.
See the change in your energy levels. This method has no side effects which are harmful.

Psychic Visions

Almost all of us are psychics. In the most easily understood meaning of a psychic is a person that can sense and see " beyond the obvious ". Beyond the Obvious is the name of my blog available at trulyunreal.blogspot.com. Some of these psychics believe that they are special so they set about advising , counselling and trying to play with the occult. Amongst the many ways these special psychics use to convince themselves that they are special are the use of divinatory appartus such as Tarot, ESP, Aura-Reading, Remote-Viewing , Telepathy and Mind reading. But is there any truth behind these abilities or are they just a way to captivate a weak mind ?

Psychis powers originate in the mind. Since we all have a mind of our own which independently argues and debates and gives instructions to our body to react , we all have the requisite tools to unlock the psychic powers and unleash them. So then what is the difference between people who exhibit the extraordinary powers of their mind by dowsing and other divinatory forms and the rest of us who think that psychics are special ? The difference is that normal people use their psychic powers to see beyond the obvious to understand and follow things which are normal and worldly. Lets understand it with an example. Yesterday I met with a person who is known to be starightforward in talking and doesnt sugarcoat any words but tells it the way it is. Any normal person would have gone beyond his words to understand what this person was saying , we are so used to reading between the lines that we have forgotten to take everything at face value. Behind every action and behind every word , behind every move we search for a motive and we are succesful too since we can go beyond the obvious we usually end up going where we can make a good story of our discovery.  We use our psychic abilities to gain insight into a normal behaviour.

A special person uses his psychic powers to go beyond the obvious further. He doesnt stop at reading between the lines and finding a motive for the behaviour, he goes one step further and understands the reason behind the motive. Just stopping at the motive might give us a sense of achievement but searching for a reason gives us the power over the person. Once you know and understand his mind ( which argues debates and instructs) , you are able to control his mind since you now know the deliberations he uses to act in a certain way.

Very Easy , yes. No very very complicated since the reason behind the motive can only be found when you merge your mind into his mind which is the essence of spirituality, where in meditation we get merged into the universal mind , from where individual minds are controlled. There is a simple exercise by which you can find if you have reached the final reason behind the motive and that is you will your heart going out to that person since when the minds merge the heart comes closer and you will beleive in the reasons and believe in the motive and feel love for him or her. Remember Christ when he said " God forgive them for they know not what they do "

Shielding oneself

"He who is the Brahman of the Vedantins, Ishvara of the Naiyayikas, Purusha of the Sankhyas, cause  of the Mimamsakas, law  of the Buddhists, absolute zero  of the Atheists, and love infinite unto those that love, may [He] take us all under His merciful protection": Udayanacharya -- a great philosopher of the Nyaya or Dualistic school. And this is the Benediction pronounced at the very beginning of his wonderful book Kusumanjali  (A handful of flowers).

As a sapling tries to grow , a hedge is created around it so that it may be protected against animals. We are all saplings trying to grow unto God. For a warrior on the battlefield his uniform is also a shield. What is the shield that we have against the onslaught of crass comercialisation on one side and falling ethics on the other. In between these two enemies that halt spiritual development do we find wanting an armour.

Since both the adversaries are fighting the battle within us how does one vanquish the enemy ?  Luckily we are all provided with a sword of wisdom which if used alongwith a kavach (protective covering ) of  yoga ( not to be confused with asanas) can counteract any attack.

Spiritual energy cannot be obtained by talisman, amulets, charms, spells, rituals or any person. Spiritual energy comes from recognising that we are a spirit endowed with a body and our nature is spiritual not physical.

An after-thought.

Sensitive people should avoid large groups and gatherings. There is a theory which I subscribe to and that is the more the number of people gathered in a place the more likely their group consciouness acts in a wierd way. If you see the paranoia at rock concerts you will realise that all individuals involved are sane people but their collective gathering tends to bring out a delusional frenzy. Marriages, Birthday Parties, Dinners where a large number of people are present are potential places where our magnetic impulses tend to loose their properties and the aftermath is a feeling of fatigue and burnout. This is a very important method of shielding oneself.

India - A Land of Oppurtunity in the Stock Markets

The universe runs on one principle, Change. Whatever exsists will undego change and re-invent itself with time manifesting a different aspect of its basic function. This principle is the foundation of life.

Sindhis can claim the title of the founders of the aryan race. As original inhabitants of the Sindhu Valley they have been in exsistence since the past 7000 years or so. This is the period when trade and commerce were initiated in social life.5000 years back , Aryans started forming Societies around the world. These small pockets of habitations believed that inanimate objects are the same as living like plants animals and humans and totally capable of reproducing itself. This is the core teaching of vedanta. Hence if " food money "  or " monetary token " of any kind was given , then it was legitimate to charge interest. The rate of interest charged was 10-25 percent for silver and 20-35 percent for cereals. This was 5000 years back.  Then around 4500 to 4000 years back the Sumerians fixed the rate of interest at 20 percent.

The word banking comes from two sanskrit words byaya or expense and onka meaning calculation. The sindhi word byaj or interest is also similar to the original sanskrit word expense. The Jews who are considered as bankers to the world have a history that can be traced to pre-christ times when they used to carry out the trade of money-lending at the temple of Solomon, built 1005 years before christ. The jews and sindhis share many common characteristics the two major being trading and diaspora. Some years back a proffesor in Allahabad University had even found that Sindhis and Jews share a very common gene pool too.

The reason for tracing back all this information is to illuminate the readers that banking like the aryan race is very ancient and has been a part of our culture since thousands of years. Sindhis especially are known to lend money to traders who used to  buy and sell goods on the china-persia route that passed through sindh.

Today banking is institutionalised. Small time sindhi businessmen who were private bankers to many people who could not get complete the rigid formalities and the strict systems of rules of the these banks have found it difficult to realise the interest with many people defaulting. But there is still a way to be involved in this wonderful process which benefits both the debtor and the lender. The debtor benefits by utilising the funds to generate more money and thereby finding a way to become an uncommon man  from a common man.  People who have changed their status from impoverished to wealthy have all realised that success comes when you borrow responsibly and turn the debt in to an asset. When I was a small time stockbroker at the Bangalore Stock Exchange in 1997-1998, a retired Bank of India branch manager used to have coffee with me every day on the terrace of our stock exchange building near unity towers on J.C.Road. This everyday meeting between a person who had seen and experienced commerce day in and day out and an amateur who was just learning how not to get caught in a frenzy and keep away from the fiction of the stock markets taught me some of the greatest lessons in economics commerce and psychology. My tutors contention was that todays debt is tommorrows asset if carefully planned.Imagine buying a house with debt. Inflation assures that money losses value over a period of time ( Flats in Bombay 35 years back were available for 25,000 in a very good area of khar ). Now imagine putting the same money in your bank at 15.5% interest, the yield over 35 years will be around 16 lacs ( simple interest and not compound) , but the same amount invested in a house would be worth at least 5 to 7 times the amount gained by putting in the bank. An asset whether it be Land Machines or Shares would be worth more than the value of money invested wheras the actual value of money and its worth falls.

An efficient and intelligent debtor and a banker are the nessecary requisites for a growing economy. Sindhis have known this from pre-historic times and have graciously lent money fuelling growth and thrusting people from insolvency to affluence.

This article is incomplete if I dont mention the new opportunities available in Banking. This will be taken up in my next part when I continue this note. I will also be doing a dis-service to my nation if I dont mention that Gold Silver and Jewellery are dead investments and do not benefit a country nor the people.

My Last post was incomplete. My intentions in the last post was two fold , 1) To introduce the concept that banking was as ancient ( if not more ) than the vedic period, by establishing this theory I will be able to sanction my next postulate which will be that not only is banking and charging interest nessecary , it is also moral if done honourably. 2) The second point I wanted to make was that with lesser opportunities for private bankers a new thought and a fresh approach is required to continue in this industry. For people who may question why do we need to continue the answer lies in the fact that a business over many years developes an insight to throw out the inconsistencies and pitfalls. The business matures and goes into auto-correct mode. After years and years of growth the business becomes immune to the changes in the economic environment.

In this note I shall take some tips from an article which appeared in DNA on 20th October under the title " The agenda behind the anti-corruption agenda" written by G.Sampath a writer whose ideas fall very close to my thoughts. The article quotes eminent economist Prabhat Patnaiks theory that " by repeatedly associating state initiatives and programmes with corruption, you make a strong case for the handing over of public assets held in trust by the state ( such as PSU's) in to private hands."  The common man is now burdened monetarily by paying much more for the services which were first rendered by the state at a nominal cost. By corrupting our minds and making the difference between nessecities and luxuries thin through the use of advertising corporations and industry are playing both sides of the game where the looser is the common man. On one hand they try and make everything costlier on the other hand they create an impression where everything is needed. In such a situation people and families spend their money before earning it.
By taking loans and not spending it on making assets people fall in to the debt trap which sucks out the life of any family. In fact the german word for debt is schuld means debt and guilt.

Everything that happens to us or is likely to happen should be taken in the correct spirit and just as as the captain of the boat never blames the storm but takes corrective and antidotal steps to counteract the storm so should we as captains of our family who are dependent on us for their existence and expense.

Looking at the whole picture with an intutive eye and observing the trends carefully is it not a good time to invest in shares of PSU banks ?
Not only are they available at below market rates and pay yearly dividend but they may be the first businesses that herald the age of compulsive spending where private moneylenders give you money to purchase the goods manufactured by themselves at a price where paying for the interest is possible only by taking more loans.

Public Utilities and Public Sector Undertakings will be a thing of the past. We are observing that cheap goods and cheap products and services are no longer available. Future will be still hard and may be we all shall need some help or financing to carry on living a decent lifestyle. By taking co-ownership in banks and becoming the shareholders , we may be able to endure the blow which is aimed directly on our children.

Somewhere in the Middle

suni hikaayat-ehasti to darmiyaan se suni"na ibtida ki khabar hai na inteha maaloom"
Shaad azeem abadi

In the scheme of things that got created in the universe , humans are placed in one corner from where neither the begining nor the ending is visible. On one end of the spectrum nature extends itself to about 26 orders of magnitude in space , larger than us and on the other end it , through molecules and atoms and nuclei to 18 times smaller in elementary particles. The complete scale from the invisbily minute to the extremely large is staggering to comprehend.

The limited range of length , time and energy which define the world of middle dimensions is not sufficient to explain the workings of this world. Our phylogenetic ( each species including humans comes with some intutive concepts of space, time, geometry, causality , nature of matter etc.) knowledge or experience comes from this small part of nature.

The individual development or learning is ontogenesis which brings a human being closer to God. The hidden and mysterious world is where all action is. Just as in the movies the projector is hidden from the view or in a puppet show the hands that control the dolls are cleverly disguised, so too in our visible world all the real work is done beyond the obvious. The spirit is more powerful than our apparent body and the events that unfold and manifest are generated from a place or a point which is mysteriously concealed.

A Probable Future

Knowing the future is useful and exciting. We can only see a part of the future as most of the variables that define future are in a state of flux and are subjectively exclusive. This means that though the patterns in future will be same for everyone their influence can be benign or malignant depending on our position and understanding in the present.

I shall consider the trends or patterns in only two spheres of life, Spiritual and Economical. Changes at the spiritual level effect the economic status of the society is my belief. Arnold J. Toynbee, whose twelve volumme book " A study of History " traces the decline of civilisation concludes that excessive interest in political and economic issues was responsible for deterioration of human life.

Spirituality follows the path of encompassing everything within itself. We may be believers or atheists, dualists or monotheist but spirituality does not consider it as distinctions and follows a path which hems in all faiths and all beliefs. It is concerned with morality only and if an atheist selflessly acts without expectations of a reward , he is spiritual and more closer to the ultimate power than a ritualistic person whose actions are selfish but believes in God.

The next few years will see people becoming truly spiritual rather than expressing their religion by rituals and the outward display of their faith. They will start believing in morality as the only path towards truth. This shift has already started and people have found that religion without being spiritual inwardly has only confused and caused mental pain. This realisation will establish itself firmly as people look within to connect with the outside.

The fallout of such a movement will be that a lot of spiritual shops could go out of business. Commercial establishments that promise nirvana and take advantage of seekers by showing them a path that exploits their emotions leading them to grief and disbelief may find no takers. Rituals make people superstitious and generate fear in many. Since the journey of mankind is from fear to fearlessness and lower truth to higher truth, it is natural that people choose those ideals which give them more freedom.

In every age after following a certain way humanity changes its direction by charting a new course. Historians and sociologists give many reasons for this shift in human behaviour, which define their life by embracing a new practicality. But the truth is that we are following a trajectory set in motion by our need to manifest the qualities of the God we worship and in the process make the finite experiences enduring and endless.

A collateral development would be that our perspective would turn from the physical to the psychical. The concept that action is a consequence of thought and thought is generated by the mind which is a non physical entity is slowly gaining strenght. In medicine and evolution, our psyche has been found to actively change our viewpoints and even create a new reality from the exsisting objective world.

The power of positive thinking and using our mind to gain a creative advantage over our hardships will get a new stamina once our consciousness leaves the plane of physical rituals of action to non physical and spiritual levels. By shifting the ballast from Kinetic to passive activity we may also inherit a new field of vision which will allow us the see an hitherto hidden dimension. It may also happen that we may gain more physical energy in the process , since the source of vital energy is our spiritual body.

It is believed that when we pay more attention to the physical aspects of life and rituals are a part of physical religion , we are disconnected from the spirit which is the source of all fortitude. It is no surprise for most of us to see that immorality manifests more at religious places and inhuman acts are committed more by religious people.

Spiritual persons on the other hand believe that since all souls are one , harming or helping others is doing evil or good to oneself and in turn nature. Hence morality in spiritual people is firmly rooted.

Let us see how the above changes can effect the second most important aspect of our life, economy. Money has the tendency to course from one place to another. Money cannot stay long in one place. It needs to keep moving . It usually flows to a place from where it senses it will be able to have easy passage ahead. In simple words to a place where it is not hoarded but allowed to move freely. This is the reason why once countries of affluence are now in need and where there was poverty are now enjoying bountiful wealth.

So what does the future hold for the economy ? Countries which open up their money flow will be booming and those countries which devise strategies and means to control the flow of money will find being controlled by money in turn, and slowly squeezed by it ( money ) to release its movement in the process creating a void for the nation and its people.

Only by giving and distributing and spreading wealth can prosperity be assured for men and countries. But money has another tendency. It takes offense if it is used on vain show and exhibism or to damage and sabotage the goal of others. A country or a business that keeps the circulation of money and effectively reduces the disparity between the poor and the rich is likely to generate more wealth.

This is also a trend started by Warren Buffet whose frugal economic sense has caught the attention of many. By not spending on unnesscary things and being content with little inexpensive pleasures , we are not only reducing the inequality between the haves and have nots but also respecting money. The more we display our money to the people who do not have the basic needs of life, the more further we go from spirituality and the more we widen the gap between the two classes. Since Vedanta believes in the unity of exsistence, it is nessecary that we bring our underprivileged brothers first to a level where they are treated better than animals by spending on their health and education.

Swami Vivekananda says " So long as the millions live in hunger and ignorance, I hold every man a traitor who, having been educated at their expense, pays not the least heed to them." Actually once spirituality manifests in the real sense sometime in the future, we shall develop more self confidence and resist all exhorbitant expenses that we incur are to give us more belief and faith in ourselves.

Rituals take away the belief from our spirit to an entity outside us.

The future of man points towards more freedom and less disparity on the outside and the inner man shall develop more resilence and faith in the working of this world which now because of our physical approach looks chaotic on the outside but will look organised and purposeful after going beyond the obvious .

SPIRITUALISM IN THE STOCK MARKETS

CONVENTIAL BELIEF ABOUT THE NATURE OF THE MARKET. AND OTHER ALLIED BELIEFS.

Both George Soros and Warren Buffet believe the markets are always wrong.

An investor or a trader makes a decision to buy, sell, hold or do nothing based on his idea of what makes the markets tick. This individualistic idea that he has, is called his philosophy and since it is on the running of the market it is his market philosophy.

A philosophy can be described as an explanation of how the world around us works, and our means of understanding it. This understanding tells us what is right and what is wrong, what works and what doesnt.. Philosophy is the guide to making choices, reaching decisions – and taking action.

In the markets, this philosophy is adapted to trade in beliefs. According to a prominent Invesment psychologist , Van Tharp, people dont trade in the markets, they trade their beliefs. Yet many dont have any such beliefs as they hitch their wagon of thoughts to the prevailing bias at that time. Others cling to a potpourri of beliefs which are often self contradictory.

A Jedi investor uses his philosophy as a mental shield against the markets constant chaos.

A description about the market is given by Benjamin Graham , whose investment philosophy revolutionised Warren Buffets approach.

Mr. Market is a remarkably accomodating fellow , who is a partner in your private business. Without fail , Mr Market appears daily and names a price at which he will either buy your interest ( stocks which you would like to sell ) or sell you his . ( stocks which you would like to buy. ). All these quotes are based on a background of economic characteristics of the combined nations of the world at that time. All this is normal , but what is not normal is the behaviour of Mr. Market who has a incurable emotional problem. At times he falls euphoric and can only see the favourable factors affecting business. On this day he is wildly over-excited and is happy and quotes a very high buy – sell price because he fears that you will snap up his interest ( buy out his share ) and rob him of his imminent gains. But on some days , sometimes may be the very next day , he is depressed and can see nothing but trouble ahead for both business and the world. On these occassions he will name a very low price, terrified you will unload your interset ( sell your shares ) .

Mr Market has another endearing characteristic. He doesnt mind being ignored. If his quotation is uninteresting to you today , he will be back with one tomorrow. Transactions are strictly at your option. Under these conditions the more maniac-depressive his behaviour, the better for you.

Since the mood swings of the market are psychotic , there will be times when the market offers a price for a stock that is insanely cheap and buying it back at another time when it is ridiculously high.

There is however a handicap to this type of investment. We can never know in advance when Mr. Market will be euphoric or when he will be depressed, Hence prediction does not play any part in this type of strategy.

Remember the market is there to serve you in making wealth and not guide you. It will be a disaster if you fall under its influence.
So if the analyst who predicts is a unnessecary to the working of the market and the guidiance from people who are influenced by the market and are under its spell , is also dangerous then what is the basis for making investment decisions ? Here the personal and spiritual growth of an individual comes to play a important part. That is why investing in a stock market is the only gauge which can be used to measure a persons progress spiritually. When all physically available options are exhausted the investor turns to something beyond physics and numbers which is inherently spiritual.

And what is that ? His philosophy which dictates his life, his actions , his thoughts. his relations, his time, his whole living. The same belief that runs his life now gets to be used by him to make an investment. Every succesful investor has followed a different belief yet has achieved the same result. Those who blindly follow others beliefs without questioning are walking with their eyes closed. A master develops his own set of beliefs which are a result of his spiritual awakening.
Experts call it the unconscious competence, which in one line could be explained as undertaking a venture which may look risky or unachievable to a novice but is like a brisk walk in the park for the masters.

Success in the stock markets is unlike achieving success in medicine or any other commercial enterprise which follow a very linear and tangible way to progress without giving any growth or development to the inner nature of man. Many Industrial Emperors of this generation have been able to unlock only the procurring aspect of their true self. This unending journey of acquisition has no destination.

In Part 2 of this essay , I shall try to bring about some habits that a investor cultivates to achieve prosperity in the stock market. There are many successful stock market experts without the help of these winning habits , but then there are many in commercial and industrial establishments too, These Winners display a shallow confidence which is largely linked to material wealth .
